SIAPP exists because the tools available were either a clipboard or a platform that needed a consultant. We wanted the middle: something you can open in a stairwell, use with one hand, and finish before you get back to the van.
The evening report had to go
Every inspection ends the same way: two hundred photos with names like IMG_4471, a notebook you can half read, and an hour at a laptop trying to remember which crack was on level two.
The fix is not more storage. It is attaching the answer to where and when at the moment the photo is taken, so that the report is a rendering job rather than a memory test.
That is the whole idea. Pin the photo to the plan while you are standing on the spot, and the report writes itself.

Site conditions are the design brief
One hand free, gloves on, bright sun, no signal, a phone at 20%. If a feature does not survive that, it does not belong in the app.
Offline is the default, not a mode
Everything is written to the device first. Sync is something the app worries about, not something you have to think about.
The report is the product
Photos nobody can act on are just storage. We spend most of our effort on the thing you actually hand over at the end of the day.
No dark patterns

- SIAPP is a snagging, punch list and site inspection app for construction. On site you photograph a defect, pin it to the exact spot on the floor plan, add a note and a category, and produce a PDF report before you leave. It is built by a small team of engineers.
- Does SIAPP track defects to closure?
- Yes, on Professional and Enterprise. Any defect photo can become a task pinned to the plan, with a priority, a due date and a status (open, in progress, completed). You add after photos next to the before photos, reminders go out when tasks are due or overdue, and the punch list PDF shows every defect with its status. You assign tasks to teammates: up to 3 team members on Professional, unlimited on Enterprise.

- Yes, on Professional and Enterprise. Professional includes up to 3 team members and Enterprise as many as you need. You give each one a role (admin, member or viewer), share projects, assign tasks and message each other per project. Team members get these features in the projects they are invited to. Free and Solo are single-user plans.
